Decorations are items that can be used by the player to design their cafe. It has different categories and vary greatly, from necessary (such as chairs and tables) to completely ornamental (paintings).

A lot of decorations are available all year round, but some are also seasonal.

Obtaining Decorations[]

Decorations can be bought by spending coins or cash on the decorations tab, but there other ways to obtain various decorations. Some of them can be quest rewards, while some can be won from playing (and winning) the bi-weekly minigames.

Currently, there is no known method of transferring decorations from one account to another. Thus, all decorations can only be obtained through one's own efforts.

Storing Decorations[]

You have an unlimited option to drag items to the Warehouse when you want to put them away for later use. To do this, open the decoration menu and just hold and drag an object beyond café borders (even on the grass or on the highway), or just drag it exactly on the Warehouse which you can see in the decoration menu, indicated with a box icon. You can not drag floor tiles and wallpapers; instead they go to your Warehouse automatically when you place a new tile on the former.

Selling Decorations[]

Do I have the chance to sell objects that I don't want to use anymore?
You always have the option to sell your belongings in your café. To do this, you must put them away in your Warehouse first. There, you can find the "Sell" button on each object.

Currently, all items (except for awards and exclusive counters) sell for half of its original purchase price, and items bought with cash can be sold only for coins.

Chef awards and exclusive counters sell for 0 coins.

Decoration Quality[]

Decoration quality refers to the overall cost of money spent on decorating your cafe. Having a low decoration quality prompts the "Increase decoration quality" on Chef Eva's popularity tips.

All items spent towards the different categories add up towards this measure. This means, even the cost of chairs, tables and counters contribute to the overall "decoration quality" of your cafe, which may prevent the decoration prompt from appearing every once in a few levels.

Cafes with excessively high decoration quality can also have a static 100 popularity on their cafe.

Decoration Categories[]

Decorations are classified into categories for ease of browsing. Currently, there are 16 categories within the decorations tab to choose from.
